Takashi Sugiura = Giant Killer?

It's been announced that NOAH's Takashi Sugiura will take on Giant Silva at PRIDE's Bushido 4 show. For those who are wondering, Sugiura is no stranger to MMA fights and holds a Draw decision over Daniel Gracie, who incidentally defeated NJPW Supernova Shinsuke Nakamura several months later!
All I can say is that I hope Sugiura wins his fight against the big man and is then considered in title contention to challenge Kenta Kobashi for the GHC Title. Heck, I'd even pull for him to be the man that beats Kobashi for the title ala Shinsuke Nakamura over Hiroyoshi Tenzan! Sugiura definately has all the tools and almost the size to make the transition to the heavyweight division. It would also be a step in the right direction to finally push a new ace in NOAH after the seemingly failed Tamon Honda push.
