All Japan 9/3 Results

The tour closer for the Summer Impact tour saw Kawada make a successful V7 defense of the Triple Crown after defeating New Japan's Osamu Nishimura with a running face kick in 27:12. Nishimura wrestled "Darkstyle Muga", which is essentially a more violent version and should be interesting to watch. Nishimura was barefoot too.
The story now is that Taiyo Kea has stolen the Triple Crown belts and won't give them back until Kawada gives him a title shot. The match is rumoured to happen on 10/31.
Also on the show, Keiji Mutoh beat Satoshi Kojima in a "student vs teacher" match. This decision made alot of internet fans moan about Kojima's continued burial in AJPW, but since it took Mutoh FIVE Shinning Wizards to beat him, I guess it's all part of the (very) slow build to Kojima's eventual run at the top.
