NEW GHC Heavyweight Champion!!!

Naomichi Marufuji pulled off a huge shocker at the Nippon Budokan last night, defeating Jun Akiyama to capture the GHC heavyweight championship! Marufuji seems to have elected NOAH president and former 2-time GHC champion Mitsuharu Misawa as his first defense of the title, which could take place next month. And due to the loss, Akiyama is considering going back to the bottom of the card working openers, and might even go back to his blue gear!
