New GHC Hardcore Champion!

Kentaro Shiga beat Scorpio last night to become the new GHC Hardcore Openweight champion. Should be fun to see how Shiga gets pushed now since his win/loss record has been less than stellar since his return from injury. But his new Yakuza look has boosted his popularity even more in recent weeks, so it should be interesting to see how things go from here.
One also has to wonder about Scorpio's status, as he loses the title just a week after working a dark match for WWE where he beat Rene Dupree of the ECW brand.
