TNA Hard Justice 8/13/06 PPV results

The event will most probably be remembered for what happened outside the ring, as pyro from the opening of the PPV cause a small fire in the Impact Zone, causing the PPV to be stopped after the first match to temporarilly evacuate the building! The show was able to resume after the fire marshall declared it safe to continue, but the 4-way no.1 contender's tag match had to be cancelled.

X-Division Title No.1 Contender's Match: Chris Sabin beat Alex Shelley with the Cradle Shock
- Kevin Nash was injured, so Shelley replaced him in the match.
Abyss with Father James Mitchell beat Brother Runt with a Black Hole Slam on thumbtacks.
Falls Count Anywhere: Samoa Joe beat Rhino & Monty Brown
- Joe pinned Brown after an STO off the ramp through a table.
Gail Kim beat Sirelda with a blockbuster.
X-Division Title: Senshi (C) beat Petey Williams & Jay Lethal.
- Williams hit the Canadian Destroyer on Lethal, Senshi took out Williams with a missile dropkick and pinned Lethal to retain the title.
NWA World Tag Team Titles: AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels (C) beat the Latin American Xchange (Homicide & Hernandez) with Konnan when Daniels pinned Hernandez after a Total Elimination variation to retain the titles.
NWA World Heavyweight Title: Jeff Jarrett (C) with Scott Steiner beat Sting with Christian Cage to retain the title.
- Christian turned on Sting hitting him with Jarrett's guitar, allowing Jarrett to make the pin.
