New GHC Jr. Tag Champions!

Takashi Sugiura & Yoshinobu Kanemaru won back the GHC Jr. Tag Titles last night from the team that originally beat them for the titles back in March at the Nippon Budokan, with Kanemaru scoring the pin on Hidaka with the Touching Out. Sugiura & Kanemaru become the 4th champions and you have to wonder since it was an all ace team that hold the titles again, just who does NOAH plan have take the belts from them?

7. GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Takashi Sugiura & Yoshinobu Kanemaru beat Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita (c) (31:12) when Kanemaru used the Touch Out on Hidaka to become the 4th champions.

Also, it was announced that Jun Akiyama will defend the GHC Heavyweight Title against Naomichi Marufuji at the Nippon Budokan on 9/09/06, and Scorpio will defend the GHC Hardcore Openweight Title against Kentaro Shiga on 9/03/06 at the Aichi Prefecturial Gymnasium.
