King of DDT results

Might be a bit late posting this, but I don't follow DDT as much as I used to. More on that later.
DDT ran it's annual King Of DDT tournament last week, and the KUDO came out on top winning the tournament beating Daichi Kakimoto in the finals. Whether or not this will result in KUDO finally getting his shot and a run as KO'D champion remains to be seen, but I would personally like to see him have a run with the title cause he is one of the best talents in the company.
Other news coming out of the show is that Dick Togo is leaving the company and disbanding the Far East Connection group he had been affiliated with in the company. Should be interesting to see how things go now as interest in DDT hit a slump when Togo entered and the company became more of a standard promotion than the bizzare and wacky promotion that was loved by many and made it the darling of the Japanese indy scene.

2. King of DDT – Semifinals: Daichi Kakimoto beat Iifushi Kota in 7:03 with a German Suplex hold.
3. King of DDT – Semifinals: KUDO defeated Yusuke Inokuma in 6:06 with the diving double kneedrop.
4. Shoichi Ichimiya, Riki Sensyu & Sanshiro Takagi beat Futoshi Miwa, Seiya Morohashi & Tanomusaku Toba in 11:59 when Ichimiya used the WAR Special on Miwa.
5. 4 Way Dance: Danshoku Dino defeated Shuji Ishikawa, Poison Sawada & Muscle Sakai in 6:30 when Dino used the Danshoku Driver on Poison.
6. Far East Connection Dismissal Match: Dick Togo & Nobutaka Moribe beat Tomohiko Hashimoto & Sho Kanzaki in 12:50 when Moribe used the Frog Splash on Kanzaki.
7. Touru Owashi & Shogo Takagi defeated HERO! & Masahiro Takanashi in 13:18 when Owashi used a diving body press on Takanashi.
8. King of DDT – Finals: KUDO beat Daichi Kakimoto in 10:40 with the diving double kneedrop.
