Differ Cup 2005 Finals results

NOAH's Naomichi Marufuiji & KENTA won the 2005 Differ Cup Scramble Jr. Tag Tournament last night in front of 1,800 fans at the Differ Ariake Arena, beating the Zero-One team of Minoru Fujita & Ikuto Hidaka in the finals. The match went over 35-minutes and eventhough the results were pretty much predictable, it at least shows that Fujita & Hidaka could hang with the two veterans from the big leagues. And in a true show of class, Marufuji & KENTA donated the 1,000,000 yen cheque they won to Naohiro Hoshikawa to help pay his medical bills. Hoshikawa has been out since 2004 due to severe injuries suffered during a match with Tatsuhito Takaiwa in Zero-One.
The Ikeman team of Kaz Hayashi (AJPW) & Leonardo Spanky (Zero1/Hustle) came in third place beating Tiger Emperor (NOAH) & Super Shisa (Dragon Gate).
