WRESTLE-1 "GP2005 2nd Round" Results

After putting on one MOTY caliber match on the first show, the second WRESTLE-1 show fell a bit short both performance and attendance wise. NOAH's Jun Akiyama was knocked out of the tournament losing in the main event to Bob Sapp, who most probably is going to win it all and beat Great Muta in the finals. Muta advanced beating long time rival Kensuke Sasaki. Personally, I'm hoping it's Sapp VS Jamal in the finals as the two never really settled their feud in AJPW.
The other "highly anticipated" match on the card was the first time in ring meeting of NOAH ace Mitsuharu Misawa and Akebono in a tag match. Surprising result here as Misawa PINNED Akebono with his running elbow smash to win the match.
