NOAH "2nd Great Voyage" Results

Takeshi Rikioh made a successful 3rd defence of the GHC Heavyweight Title against Mitsuharu Misawa, beating him with his Muso finisher. No word on how good the match was, but reports say the fans are warming up to Rikioh as champion.
Probably the biggest shocker of the night was Akira Taue pinning Jun Akiyama in the big semi-final tag match of the show. All signs now point to Taue being next to challenge Rikioh for the GHC title at the November Budokan show. It would definately add to Rikioh's "legend killer" nickname that was recently given to him, but I'd honestly be rooting for Taue if that match came about even though he probably doesn't stand a chance in that one.
KENTA made his first defence of the GHC Jr. title beating his rival SUWA. You might count this defence as 1 1/2 since he beat SUWA twice! First the match was thrown out when SUWA used an illegal weapon much like their previous match, but instead of just a DQ, they restarted and had a proper sprint of a match.
Kentaro Shiga made his return and was downed by Tamon Honda in the opener of the show. Adding insult to injury, Honda used Shiga's own finisher to beat him!
